working with the care market: masterclass deck

Our 5th and final LGA Digital Technology Masterclass hosted a fabulous panel of council colleagues already some way into their journey of digital transformation with their care providers.

We heard from Clare Hall-Salter, Telford and Wrekin Council’s service delivery manager for service improvement and efficiency, who’s been working closely with us to support local care market providers to embrace digital tech.

The council’s commissioning specialist for older people, Julie Edmonds, explained how a co-producing approach is helping meet the needs of the region’s vulnerable people, while Helen Cotterell, who leads a team responsible for operational implementation of assistive tech, lifted the bonnet on the developmental work that’s helping shape the future of Telford and Wrekin’s service provision.

Finally Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council’s Marie Spittle (head of service for access and prevention in adult social care) shared 30 years of experience leading new initiatives and piloting new projects.
